Long Shot. Good Shoot!
Innovative, creative and refreshing all around... the track and the simple splicing of an obvious home video of young Colin Munroe reinforces that you don't always need a million dollar budget to create effective videos. Don't sleep on Colin Munroe or Joell Ortiz!

The words ‘organic’, ’sustainable’, ‘green’, and ‘zero-emitting’ are catch phrases drawing the hip and cool of today’s environmentally-aware populous to anything the words are attached to. This has spelled opportunity for companies that can reinvent (or simply re-brand) their product lines to attract this market segment.
Club ‘WATT’ (AKA MyTown or Nighttown) in Rotterdam - Holland, is one such business. Through successful collaboration with the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands, WATT is promising to sport the world’s first ‘Piezo-electricity’ dance floor. The dance floor harvests energy from the vibrations created by dancing clubbers and uses it to power the club’s own LED lighting.
The Toyota TVC below features an animated showcase of the technology.
The dance floor is not the only sustainable aspect of the club. Dutch architect Henk Döll is the visionary behind the club’s design, and has creatively integrated the latest innovations in sustainability to reduce the use of energy and water and decrease waste production. He is a founding partner of project SDC (Sustainable Dance Club) along with ENVIU. The project aims to ‘green dance clubs worldwide’.
Club WATT opened its doors on September 4th, 2008 to a 2000-person capacity with a bang. Reportedly, Amy Winehouse opened the Rotterdam dance club for the sum of 350,000 Pounds (around $700,000). Of course, club owner Aryan Tieleman is pleased with the media buzz and free publicity so far.
